Adelaide Market

Adelaide gets a bad wrap around Australia - Sydney and Melbournites love to tease the City of Churches. But I'm a bit of a fan, particularly if you consider the great wine country and beaches just out of town.

When I am in Adelaide I always go to the market. It is such a hub of activity, the food stalls are awesome and there is great produce with a true dedication to quality. You can pick up barnlaid eggs, artisan breads, fresh vegetables, and the cheese, the cheese is incredible. There are a number of excellent fromage purveyors, all ready to let you sample and buy a wide variety of styles and flavours. The Smelly Cheese Shop is my personal pick of the bunch. Yum.
